LANXESS has two legal entities in Belgium, with 3 sites in the Antwerp harbor area, where rubber products and intermediates for plastics are produced. LANXESS Rubber nv in Zwijndrecht produces butyl rubber.

LANXESS nv produces in Lillo caprolactam and in Kallo glass fibres and rubber chemicals. Belgium is with its 4 world class plants the second largest production area within the LANXESS Group worldwide.

Since May 2011 there is a LANXESS EU Liaison Office based in Brussels.
